Chiropractic Care Minutes from the U District

Study posture wrecking your neck? Intramural injury that won't quit? MindBody Med sits one mile north of the UW campus on NE 65th Street, and we're listed in the UW Medicine Clinical Referral Directory. Chiropractic, sports rehab, acupuncture, massage, and full-body red light therapy for students, staff, and everyone in between.

Why MindBody Med

Built for the Way the U District Lives

The University District runs on long hours: lectures, labs, library marathons, and jobs squeezed in between. That lifestyle shows up in our exam rooms as tension headaches, stiff necks from laptop hunching, and lower backs that gave out during a pickup game at the IMA.

Our care team was built for exactly this mix. Dr. Chevigny holds the CCSP sports chiropractic certification, so club athletes and weekend runners get real return-to-sport programming, not just a quick crack and a wave goodbye. And because stress is half the story for most students, chiropractic here can pair with acupuncture and massage in a single coordinated plan.

One more thing that matters to this neighborhood: MindBody Med is listed in the UW Medicine Clinical Referral Directory. When UW providers refer patients out for chiropractic care, our clinic is on that list. That vetting is why so many of our patients walk in wearing purple and gold.

FAQ

U District Questions, Answered

How far is MindBody Med from the UW campus?

We are at 2705 NE 65th Street in Ravenna, about a mile north of the UW campus. Most patients drive up 25th Ave NE in under 10 minutes, and bus routes along NE 65th Street stop close to our door. Free on-site parking means no circling the block like you would near the Ave.

Do you see UW students, and does student insurance work?

Yes. We treat UW students, staff, and faculty every week. We accept most major insurance plans, and if your student plan is out of network, our $149 new patient special covers the exam, consultation, and first adjustment at a flat self-pay rate.

Can you help with pain from long study sessions?

Neck and upper back pain from laptop and desk time is one of the most common reasons U District patients come in. We combine chiropractic adjustments with posture and workstation guidance so relief lasts beyond the visit.

Are you connected with UW Medicine?

MindBody Med is listed in the UW Medicine Clinical Referral Directory, the resource UW Medicine providers use when directing patients to outside clinics. Many of our U District patients arrive through that referral pathway.
